Toyota Repair: engine swap, power economy, 22r

can you give me step by step instructions on how to convert the wiring from a 22r to a 22re. my truck is a 84 and the 22re is a 93. i have the harness and computer. just not sure were everything goes.

Not offhand no. Buy the factory service manual for the truck/suv your new engine first came in to get the wiring diagrams. Checking a dedicated Toyota truck/suv forum like www.yotatech.com would be prudent.
You may want to strongly consider saving your money for a later v6 swap (5vz-fe+). The R blocks are fairly weak, with anemic power & economy figures in their best version (the turbocharged 22r-te).
