Chrysler Repair: 1995 LeBaron Convertible Transmission ID, roland roland, speed overdrive

I'm trying to buy a master rebuild kit and redo the transmission. O'Reilly and Auto Zone say it's an A606.  I believe it is an A604.

I'm getting mixed signals from auto parts stores as to what transmission I have in my 95 LeBaron LX.  It's the 4-
speed/overdrive unit.  Is it an A604 or an A606? I thought all LeBarons had the same 4 speed overdrive transmissions;  but I may need to correct my thinking. Thanks for your help.  TG

As far as I know it was the A604 or also known as the 41TE that is in the 3.0L LeBaron. What is the issue you are trying to resolve with the parts store?

Hi Tim,
Why not call a Chrysler dealer and ask the auto parts people what they show in their computer? I would be surprised if it wasn't a 604/41TE. Please let me know if you learn otherwise. They should know which vehicles used the A606 and also could compare individual part numbers for their '95 model LeBarons with the earlier years when it is clear that it was called an A604. Somewhere around '94 they stopped using the A-numeric and switched to numeric-numeric-alpha-alpha's.
