Toyota Repair: 1990 toyota camry brake lights, 1990 toyota camry, brake light switch

Question
Hi, so I have questions about the brakes on a 1990 Toyota camry. The brake
lights do not work and the bulbs and fuses are all fine. All other aspects of
the tail lights work fine. The auto parts guy suggested that perhaps the
switch/interrupter communicator needed to be replace and assured that it
was
a simply procedure. The problem has arisen in that I cannot locate where the
switch is. Do you think the switch interrupter is the problem and if so how
do I replace it.Thanks so much. -Jon

Answer
The brake light switch is located under the dash on a bracket, there is also a small bracket on the brake pedal arm which makes contact with the switch, try replacing the switch, I would suggest getting the new one first so you can see what too look for.
