Toyota Repair: 95 corolla stalls when making left turns, vacuum leak, toyota corolla

Question
My 1995 Toyota corolla 1.8L automatic has been parked for about a year.  2 month ago I was able to get it back on the road and running fine.  Although, accelerating when making left hand turns, the car will stall unless I let off the gas and coast thru the turn.  This does not happen when the fuel tank is full to ¾ full.  When the tank is less than ¼, the engine will occasionally loose power when I press the accelerator.  To stop this behavior I pull over and turn off the key and restart the engine.  It is fine after that for about 20 minutes.  To avoid this, I have been keeping the tank full at all times.
I suspect the fuel pump to be going out, others believe it is a sensor or vacuum leak.  I have yet to replace the fuel filter.
Thank you for the input.
Adam

Answer
Gasoline begins to deteriorate after a while and becomes incombustible, after about a year I think this may be the problem,I would suggest draining all of the gas out of the tank and filling it with fresh fuel. Whatever gas was in the tank when parked over a year ago is contaminating the fuel and causing the problem so give my suggestion a try.
