Toyota Repair: In your opinion..., camry v6, platinum plugs

Question
2001 Camry V6 LE with 100,000 miles.

The car is getting sluggish, I'd like to improve its' performance. I change the oil every 3K myself. I have changed the air filter as well.

A guy at work suggested replacing the plugs and wires (he suggested platinum plugs). He felt it was not too complex for me to do, and that's where you come in Mike. Is it straightforward enough for a novice to undertake? I'm very capable, and it would be a thrill for me to do this especially if it did in fact improve the cars improvement. Please, would you pass along your thoughts regarding this.

Thank you so much.

Answer
Replace the plugs with the same type that are in it. Use NGK or Nippondenso plugs.
You can do it yourself, but will need a little patience as the rear plugs are hard to get to.

Also try some EFI cleaner in the fuel tank. Add when you have 1/4 tank and plan a nice ride (1/2hour or more)
