Toyota Repair: temp gauge, mile warranty, electrical malfunction

Question
ted ,i have a 2004 toyota d-cab tacoma ,around 31,000 miles, and the temp gauge seems to run on the high side ,its not in the red .all my other toyotas seem to run with the gauge right about in the center.it has a automatic trans. 3.4 v-6 .i also checked the anti-freeze and it was fine.this gauge seems to move up and down a bit after it warms up   .thanks       kevin moore

Answer
Toyota has not issued any service bulletins regarding this condition and I have personally never encountered this problem, the truck is too new to have an overheating problem so I believe that this is an electrical malfunction with either the temp sending unit or the in dash gauge, since the truck is still under the 3yr/36,000 mile warranty for electrical problems I would recommend having the toyota dealer check it.
