Toyota Repair: 1999 Toyota Avalon XL bucking problem, toyota avalon, service bulletins

Question
The car has a bucking problem in either low, 2nd, or drive. In low, as the accelerator is slowly increased (more pronounced if on a hill), the car begins to buck (although not real haed)as though the accelerator was being pushed and released multiple times. The bucking also occurs when driving at about 55 and the accelerator is slowly increased. As this bucking occure, the Tach does not show any fluctuation. The car has had oil changes every 3000 miles but has had no other type of service. I purchased it new and it currently has 39,300 miles. Toyota service rep said if the check engine light is not on (which it is not), there is no problem; however there is a problem. Can you help? Thanks.

Answer
It sounds like there may be an engine misfire but there should be an engine light on, these engines had some problems with fuel injectors and also ignition coil packs and toyota had issued a couple of service bulletins(EG008-04 and EG013-99)maybe it will help if the dealer looked up these bulletins and go from there.
