Toyota Repair: 96 Camry ABS light continuously on, independent mechanic, jumper wire

How do I reset the ABS ECU on my Camry?  I had an independent mechanic replace the rack & pinion, and the ECU is showing codes 35 & 36 when I jumper the diagnostic terminals in the engine compartment.  The mechanic said he put everything together "right," but doesn't have the scan tool to reset the light.  Is there a way for me to jump terminals to reset the computer and turn off the light?

under the hood theres a small black box about 1-1/2 by 2 inches.near the strut tower.Pop open the cover
there may or may not be a short pin in that box. Pull it out jump terminals Tc and E1 with a jumper wire or paperclip will do.
When done right the ABS light will flash the code(s)
While flashing press brake pedal 8 or more times in 10 seconds. then wait a few seconds, should then flash on/off on/off etc etc (means no codes)
