Hello,
   My Toyota corolla 1998 model passenger door handles both from inside and outside is broken. Mechanics are asking for huge amount. Hence i want to learn and fix it myself. Can you please provide me a answer. Thanks for your help in advance.

The inside handle is easy to replace, it will require removal of the door panel, most of the time if the outside door handle doesn't work it's because the connecting rod to the lock fell off because of a broken connecting clip, once the door panel is off roll the window all the way up and make sure that the large connecting rod from the door latch is connected to the door handle, if the plastic clip is broken replace it and resinstall the connecting rod to the handle.
