Toyota Repair: will not stay running, negative cable, secondary ignition

We washed the engine and after that it did not want to keep running.  Code P1300 came back misfire or Fuel to Low. Would it help if we disconnected the black cable?

Do you mean the negative cable on the battery?  If so it may clear the trouble code but you should look for any water that may have gotten to the secondary ignition circuit, I don't know what model or year toyota you have so I can't be any more specific than this, if you could provide me with a little more specific information I can probably help more.
