Toyota Repair: carburator, toyota corrolla, carburator

87 toyota corrolla runs rough on start but under load as in drive runs good but when in park stalls,is this is a crab problem and needs a rebuild or can it be a fuel filter prob,,car has been sitting for awhile,could it be a simple filter problem or do i need to get or rebuild the carb,,,can it be something else?

Most commonly Ive seen the AAP valve go bad.
there is a round caplike piece on the side of the carb held on with 3 screws. There is a vac hose to it. Pull the hose off and check for gas in the hose. Thats the
Aux Accel Pump.
If gas in hose take scres out and replce the pump.
WATCH OUT for the spring inside.
