Toyota Repair: reset 1991 Celica Airbag light, obd ii, going in the right direction

Question
It's a code 41.
I got some information from a tech who has access to Mitchel on line.
He game me a proceedure of tapping into Tc and A (if I remember correctly), turn the ign. on, and then quickly grounding the connectors (paper clip) alternating between them in two cycles. Then restart the car. The light still stays on.
I have a Chiltons Total care manual coming from the library but am unsure if it contains the information I need.
This is where I'm at.
Now what, Larry

Hi Ted,
I have removed / reinstalled the steering wheel on my Toy car. Reinstalling the airbag was no problem.
I counted the turns on the airbag 'ring' and reinstalled the s. wheel in the correct position.
The airbag light stays on.
My manual does not address this problem and my scanner is OBD II.
Do I need to see the dealer (argh!) or can help me out - at least get me going in the right direction.
Thanks,
Larry

With the air bag light on there should be a trouble code stored in the computer, can you let me know what the code is?

Answer
To clear the dtc#41 do the following:
Connect the two wires to terminals Tc and Ab
Turn the ignition switch to on and wait at least six seconds
Starting with the tc terminal, apply body ground alternately to tc and ab twice each in cycles of about one second
Finally keep applying body ground to tc
after a few seconds the air bag light will start to blink and cancellation of the codes is complete.
