Toyota Repair: 2000 toyota tacoma with engine problems, carbon deposits, stiff brush

Question
the other day my car just died at a light.  then went to start it and it just died.  i figured out it will not start without the gas, then dies if i dont keep it above 1000rpms.  it just keeps doing that all the time.  any idea on the problem?

Answer
It's an idle speed control problem, it can be repaired by removing the entire throttle body the removing the idle speed control valve and cleaning both the ISC valve and the throttle body from any carbon deposits, use a throttle body or carburetor cleaner, available at all autoparts stores and use a stiff brush, an old toothbrush works just fine, this will cure the idle problem.
