I WAS TOLD MY EGR VALVE WAS GOOD I PUSHED THE PIECE UP IN THE INSIDE OF IT AND THE ENGINE STARTED TO REACT TO IT I WAS TOLD THAT MEANT THE VALVE WAS GOOD AND I READ YOUR PAST ANSWERS AND I WANST ABLE TO BLOW THE AIR THREW THE BOTTOM FREELY BAIRLY ANY OF THE MODULATER.YOU GOT ANY IDEA WHAT ELSE CAN CAUSE THE P0401 SOUNDS LIKE THERES SOMETHING CLOUGED UP BY THE WAY THE TOUBLE CODE EXPLANATION SOUNDS BUT THERE SO MANY NUMBERS THE P0401 GOT TO MEAN IN A CEARTIN PLACE YOU GOT ANY IDEA WERE. ALSO THERE WAS A CLOGE ON THE EGR VALVE THE ONE WERE THE RUBBER TUBE GOES TO THE BOTTOM OF THE MODULATER ON THE VALVE YOU CAN SCREW THE PIPE OFF THAT WAS SEVERLY CLOGGED NO AIR OR ANYTHING WAS GOING THREW THERE I THOUGHT THAT FIXED IT WHEN I UNCLOGGED IT BUT THE ENGINE LIGHT STILL CAME ON CODE P0401 CAN YOU HELP WHAT CAN BE CAUSING THE CODE TO POP BACK UP AGAIN AND DOES THE ENGINE LIGHT NEED TO BE DELETED EVEN IF THE CODE IS FIXED OR WHEN THE CODE IS FIXED THE LIGHT WILL SHUT OFF

I think the EGR valve is still clogged on the backpressure port, that is the small tube that you cleaned out but it is still clogged on the inside of the egr valve, the EGR valve needs to be replaced unless you are sure that air can pass through with the egr valve opened.
The engine light needs to be reset it does not automatically turn off. In some cases if the egr valve is known to be good as well as the modulator there may be a problem with the vacuum switching valve(VSV) that controls the egr system and this vsv may need to be replaced.
