Mr. Ritter, can you please provide the procedure for replacing my worn hood "shocks" (suspend hood). Am i better off having someone else do this?

If you get the OEM units from the dealer it's very easy to replace them, remove the 12mm size nut at the top and then the two bolts on the bottom, if you should decide to buy aftermarket it may be a little more difficult because most of them are a universal type with different adapter mounts to work on a particular vehicle.
