Toyota Repair: headlights coming on by themselves, latex gloves, headlight bulbs

Question
I have a 2002 Toyota Corolla with  over 76,000 miles.  A couple of months ago, the headlights would come on by themselves in the middle of the night.  I would find the headlights on when I came out of the  house in the morning.  I didn't leave the keys in the ignition.  The car was dark, the engine off when I left it for the night.  Last month, the right headlight bulb went out.  I replaced it.  A few days later, both headlight bulbs went out.  I replaced BOTH bulbs on April 13.  Today is May 18, and I discovered that my right headlight bulb is out again.  I don't have any more problems with the headlights coming on by themselves in the middle of the night.  What is my car's problem?  I know it must be some sort of electrical problem.  Thank you.

Answer
As silly as this may sound, If you touch the headlamp bulb with your fingers the oil left behind will heat up and crack the bulb. Seen it a million times.
The lights coming on is a different issue. you may have a problem there, but you said that went away.

use latex gloves when you put in a new bulb.
