Toyota Repair: breathers, that would make sense, would make sense

hi mr ritter
ive just bought a 92 celica 2.0 gt-i16
but she had no breather pipes at all
ive tryd in vein to connect but she sounds bad,chugging ive reset timing but cant find any info on breather pipes?
any help pllllease.

At this time I can't be of any help because the term "breather pipes" is not familiar to me, I have no idea what they may be, maybe there is another term that would make sense to me, I need lots more specific information, right now there is no way I can help with this question based on the information I have.
If you could take a picture with a digital camera and an explanation it would help, if you are able to do this let me know and I will give you an email address to email the photos to.
