Toyota Repair: SDV10 camry vibration, cv axles, cv joints

Question
Hello Ted,
I saw that about a year ago, a fellow asked you about some vibrations he had when driving from 45 to 60mph.
I have the same problem, my car is a Camry SDV10 from 1994 and we have vibration at 2000 rpm and will stop over about 2200rpm, plus a feeling of unbalanced wheels between 80 and 100 km/h. The wheels are fine, the engine mounts changed by the car dealer and we still have the same problem. The car dealer has just no idea what can be the reason?... any idea?
Thanks a lot for any comments,
Michel

Answer
This vibration is normally caused by worn drive axles(CV axles) the only remedy is to replace them, it may only be one side that is causing the problem but I have no idea which it is.
Try checking the up/down clearance of the inner CV joints and replace the axle that feels loose.
