Toyota Repair: Need ECU for 2000 Sienna power sliding door, toyota dealers, sliding door

Question
My 2000 Sienna has 95000 miles and for the past year I've had problems with the power sliding door (passenger side).  It would work intermittently for awhile, then would only open but not close, and finally I had it deactivated at the dealership.  It's so heavy to pull across that we have broken 2 door handles off!  They I need a new ECU at a cost of $400 part/$250 labor.  Does this sound like a reasonable price?  Should all Toyota dealers charge the same, or is it worth shopping around? Thanks!

Answer
Yes this does sound like a reasonable price, the pricing structure is regional and can vary with geography, for instance(assuming you live in the US)costs can vary from the east to the west coast and north and south but are pretty consistent within the general region so if you lived in Texas you would probably have to go to South Dakota or Oklahoma to get a little bit better price,if you live in a large metropolitan area with a lot of dealers within 50 miles it may be cost effective to contact some of them to get a quote.
