Toyota Repair: 94 camry oil in gas and wont start, altenator, battery car

Question
I had a small oil leak coming from oil pump. Hubby replaced pump and didn't check the timing setting.  Tried to start may bad whirring noise. It is a 4 cylinder. 184,000miles  He adjusted timing, replaced distributor, put in new starter and new altenator and battery.  Car cranked normal would not turn over.  Noticed bad gas smell and noticed gas leaking from somewhere.  Pulled dipstick and gas was mixed in the oil. Replaced o rings around injectors pulled plug wires to let it dry out, drained oil and put in new, the thing still won't turn over.  Pleassssse help.  My car been in the garage since Thanksgiving.  I'm driving our Cherokee to work and it's costing a fortune!

Answer
I need clarification on a couple of things, you said the car cranked normal but would not turn over, this is a little confusing so my question before I can make any sense of this is: Does the engine turn over but not start?
Not sure how gas got into the oil, was there a fuel leak externally, you said gas was leaking from somewhere, does that mean it was leaking onto the ground?
I'm trying to help but I just don't have enough information.
