Toyota Repair: low idle speed., emission control, red light

Hi, Ted i am a big fan of yours, I own a 2003 4-runner V-6. when the truck has been running for a while and i am driving and coming to a red light to a full stop, it seems the RPM slow down and i feel like the engine is going to stall on me. What could be wrong? also it only has 21,000 miles.

This is not something I have come across on a 4-Runner this new, has anything at all been done to it recently, any maintenance or repair?
In any case, whatever may be causing this is probably still covered under the comprehensive or emission control warranty so in this case I recommend having the dealer check it out then let me know what they find.
