Toyota Repair: 02 4-dr Tacoma limited AT wont start, radio works, toyota dealer

Question
I am currently in the Mid East and my girlfriend is "driving" my truck while I am gone.  This past weekend "it stopped working."  I know this is vague and I apologize those are her words.  This is what she has done so far and I am trying to avoid her taking it to the dealership if it's something I (with your help) can explain.  I had her check the fuses under the dash, they're good.  I had her try to jump start it, no reaction to the extra juice.  She doesn't hear the fuel pump start up when she turns the key, the radio works, but no headlights, etc.  It has a new battery.  Any basic troubleshooting tips you can give would be great.  Like I said I am far from home right now so I can't just go outside and look at it.  Thanks in advance...Chip

Answer
It has a new battery because the old one probably went dead and someone probably tried to jump start the old battery and possibly connected the jumper battery backwards and blew out a bunch of fuses including the 100 amp alternator fuse located under the hood in the fuse panel, this fuse is bolted in and difficult to replace so I would suggest having the toyota dealer replace it,  have her check this fuse, it's much bigger than the rest of the fuses and has a plastic cover on it.
