Toyota Repair: 94 4Runner v-6 fuel injected-..., pressure gauge, fuel pressure

94 4Runner v-6 fuel injected- Ran out of gas, after refueling the truck turns over but won't start. I sprayed starting fluid into the intake and started normally. However it spudders and dies after a few seconds. Please help!!!

There seems to be a loss of fuel pressure, possibly the fuel pump failed, it is also possible that you were low on gas but didn't run out but the fuel pump quit leading you to believe you ran out of gas, the best way to go about this is to check the fuel pressure with a pressure gauge and if there is no pressure replace the fuel pump.
