Toyota Repair: Windshield washer, windshield washer, inner fender

Question
I have  a 2001 toyota echo and the windshield washer system will not work.  I can not hear the motor trying to pump.  All the fuses appear to be in good condition and the wipers work fine.

You should be able to hear the pump motor run, it could be a problem with the switch or the wiring, the motor is attached to the washer bottle, remove the inner fender liner to access the motor, apply 12 volts directly to the motor if it still won't run replace it, if it runs replace the switch on the steering column.
