Toyota Repair: Camry Transmission Fluid, dextron iii, oil change shop

Question
I have a 2003 Toyota Camry LE  With the 2.4L engine, 38,000 Miles  The transmission fluid looks a little brownish. The Quick oil change shop says it should be changed.
Should I have it changed and would it be better to use a synthetic? What type of synthetic should I use.

Thank You for your Advice

Answer
Toyota doesn't recommend using synthetic oil, make sure the correct oil is put in, check the dipstick, pull it out and look for the type of oil to be used imprinted on the dipstick, it will be either dextron III mercon or Type-IV(type 4), using the wrong fluid will cause shifting problems.
