Toyota Repair: 1989 Toyota Celica, toyota celica gt, toyota celica

Question
My 1989 Celica is in perfect condition except for one problem.  When the engine is hot, if you shut if off to run in a store or whatever, it will not start again until it cools down.  Cracking the hood open will help if the weather is cool but in Phoenix the summer is very hot and it takes a very long time to cool.  Pouring water on the starter motor will sometimes help as well.  The starter motor is brand new and so is the battery so we think it is an elecrical problem but don't know where to start looking.  This is a 1989 Toyota Celica GT, Hatchback, 133,000 easy miles on it and has never been in an accident.  Other than this starting problem when it gets hot it is a great little car.  Have you ever heard of this problem before and could you possibly suggest where to start looking for the problem.  Mechanics want $75 an hour just to look at it.  Please help.

Answer
Try replacing the cold start injector time switch located on the thermostat housing, it may be turning the cold start injector on when the engine is warm and flooding it, get the new one from the toyota dealer so you will know what it looks like.
If that doesn't solve the problem let me know.
