Toyota Repair: 95 Camry cruise control, diagnostic abilities, cruise speed

Hi Ted,
I have a 95 4 cyl LE with a cruise problem. Turn on the cruise. You get the indicator on the dash. When you attempt the set the speed, the cruise light flashes 5 times and goes out. I swapped with a known good actuator and control module with no change in results. Also it appears that the brake switch is OK as the cruise light goes out if you tap the brakes immediately after attempting to set the cruise speed.

The cruise control has on board diagnostic abilities, I recommend having the trouble codes checked by a toyota dealer or any repair shop that has the ability to do this.
Make sure the brake fluid is up to the MAX mark if it's low the cruise control won't work.
