Toyota Repair: Hot Air Coming from vents, toyota camry v6, water temp gauge

Question
Hi Ted,
I have a 1991 Toyota Camry V6 with a 2.5 L engine.
My water temp gauge consistently stays on the half way mark after warming up. This that too high? I replaced the termastat and water hoses to and from the radiator, but still the same.
But, my main question is, when I put just the interior fan on for fresh air or any air, the air coming out is really warm. Even on a day with a temp around 75 degrees. The car seems warmer on the inside than out even just after sitting just a little while after driving it for 20 or more

Any possible solutions? Thank You in advance for your advise.

Answer
If the gaugre never goes above the 1/2 mark there is no problem with the engine cooling system.
For the other problem check the heater control valve it may not be closing all the way or may be stuck open so it feels like the heater is on all the time, does the a/c work?
