please explain how to get to my tail light to replace a bulb on a 1999 toyota camry xle v6 the book doesn't explain well do i go through the trunk or take off the lens thank you

Sorry, couldn't get to your question sooner, open the trunk and look for two 10mm bolts towards the rear on each lens, remove them if they are there and then pull the lens out towards the side, there are plastic connectors holding it in also, Toyota changed the lens fastening configuration many times so I'm not sure which one you have, if the bolts are not there, remove the plastic clips on the carpet in the trunk and pull the carpet back and see if the bulbs are accessible, sometimes there are small covers that can be opened to get to the rear of the lens where the bulbs are.
