Toyota Repair: 4runner hot starting, engine coolant, toyota 4runner

Question
I just bought a 1990 Toyota 4runner, v-6, 3.0 automatic.
My problem is starting after the car is warm.
When cold, it starts with no problems.
After running the car a few miles, and trying to start the car, I get a single click from the passenger side of the engine compartment.
If I leave the vehicle to sit for an hour, it will again start up.
I did notice that the engine coolant is bubbling after I run the car for awhile, but the coolant level is ok, and the dash guage is not reading hot.

Answer
Sorry about the delay, there was an email problem.
A clicking noise without the engine cranking over normally indicates  a starter problem and the starter needs to be replaced, the engine coolant bubbeling indicates that there is a cooling system problem, this is not normal, try replacing the thermostat and see if that helps the situation.
