Toyota Repair: headlamp replacement/flasher, halogen bulbs, electrical converter

Question
1997 tacoma truck.  do I have to remove the entire grill to replace the sealed beam headlight?

Also: rt turn flashes quickly, right rear lamp OK. Replaced non working rt front and still not working (no power at socket with flasher on)  I can hear the flasher unit under the dash but can't find anything that looks like the black cube that's supposed to be the replacement.

Thanks

Answer
The Tacoma doesn't have sealed beams, it has halogen bulbs that can be replaced on the rear of the headlight assembly.
If you want to replace the entire headlamp assembly then you will need to remove the grill.
The flasher unit is not the problem, if the truck has a trailer hitch there is probably a problem with the wiring or the electrical converter box, if that is the case, does it have a factory trailer hitch and towing harness or is it an add on/aftermarket unit, let me know and I can be of more help.
