Toyota Repair: 1989 camry wagon 6 cyl, bolts and nuts, axle shaft

Question
Are there any special tool needed to replace the driver side drive axle assemble?
Can you give to me the steps that are needed to replace this part?

The hardest part is removing the outer axle nut it is extremely tight and may require an air tool to remove, once the nut is off remove the large bolts and nuts that hold the steering knuckle to the strut,remove the 3 17mm bolts on the bottom of the ball joint, pull the brake disc with the steering knuckle off the axle shaft and out of the way then you pry the axle out of the transmission or you can remove the 8mm allen bolts and leave the inner axle flange in the transmission, this is the preferred method.
