Toyota Repair: 99 toyota 4runner SR5, toyota 4runner, grease gun

Question
I've got 75K on my '99 4runner SR5 4X4 (auto trans). Driving on 4H and right after braking to a full stop, I would sometimes notice a slight forward jerk, feels like the transmission is lagging behind to shift back to  1st gear. I'm not sure if it's transmission or over maybe boosted brake? If this is a transmission problem, is this likely a major one or just a minor transmission service (i.e. some seals, fluid change etc.) Thanks much for your advice.

Answer
It sounds like the throttle pressure cable is out of adjustment, you can check it, it's connected to the throttle body linkage, there is a small rubber boot on it, peel it back and check the adjustment, there is a small metal tab crimped on the cable, it should be about 1mm from the end of the cable housing, if this is ok try filling the rear of the driveshaft slip joint with a grease gun through the grease fitting, while you're there force grease into all of the fittings on the driveshaft.
