Toyota Repair: break light, brake light switch, toyota corona

Question
my toyota corona break lights won't light when i push the pedal. i have tested the bulbs by swapping them with the flasher lights and they seem to be okay. what could be the other problems?

Make sure the correct bulbs are installed, some have two contacts and some only one, the brake lights should have a bulb with two contacts, one for the stop lights and one for the driving lights, if you are sure that all the bulbs are good and correctly installed the problem could be the brake light switch under the dash.
