Ford: 96 ford probe, keyless entry system, ford probe

    hi... i have a 1996 ford probe se.  since i bought the car from my wifes fathers estate.... i have no owners manual and therefore i cant figure  out how to operate the alarm system.  it looks like a factory installed alarm... but i cant figure out how to disable the thing so it will start.

     id appreciate any information you could provide on how to activate or deactivate the alarm either with the keyless entry system or if there is a manual switch that i can find that would be great as well.

mark does it have a key paid in the door? if it is factory put the key in the door lock and unlock the door . this sould put it in disarm. now if that don't work put the key in the ing and turn it to the start position then look under the dash for a push button  push it in with the key all the way foward  it should start . let me know
