Toyota Repair: Replacement Window for 1988 Landcruiser, toyota land cruiser, paint remover

Question
Dear Mr. Ritter,
I am working in SE Asia and disappointingly, my Asian manufactured 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser window was broken.  It is the aft side window on the right side and has two front hinges and an over centre locking clip. The info on the good window is: Temperlite Asahi M274 AS2 E6 43R-00034
We would require the same window but for the right side.  It is tinted in a brown color and has a rounded shape to contour to the rear of the vehicle.  Unfortunately, the frame S/N on the firewall has been obscurred due to many paint jobs so I can't search for the part through Toyota here. We have found this S/N on the engine if that helps: P/RJ 77 0003050
With a frame number, I can probably get a replacement window from Thailand.
I hope you have some suggestions,
Best regards, Graham

Answer
I'm afraid I can't be of much help, try to find the serial number on any documentation you may have such as a registration or ownership certificate or insurance policy.
As a last resort you could try to dissolve the paint to the bare metal with a paint remover. The number may also be on an ID plate either on the door or under the hood.
