Toyota Repair: Toyota Previa Door wont open, 1995 toyota previa, toyota previa

Merry Christmas Ted!! I'm a first time questioner.
Vehicle: 1995 Toyota Previa 2wd 120k miles.
Problem: the driver side door won't open.
Both the outside and inside handles pull freely. Turning the key or filpping the inside toggle have no effect. I do not own a wireless remote opener. The door appears to be locked at all times.
Dilemma: I have to get the door open in order to remove the inside door panel to see what's going on inside.
Please help.

Unfortunately there is no way to get the door open without removing the door panel.
Remove the driver side seat, remove the plastic covers on the pillar behind the door, then you can remove the door panel, it may get damaged but it's the only way to get it off.
The most common cause in this case is a malfunctioning door lock assembly.
