Toyota Repair: 89 corolla divers side electric window, auto wrecking yards, window switches

Question
My window switches are all together that whole piece pops right out of the door. The 1st button is the driver's side window the middle is the passenger side and the 3rd is the lock for the passenger side window.  Driver's side has no lock. Any way my switch has like 2 buttons in one. At the bottom of the button you push 1 time it rolls all the way down in the middle of the button u have to hold it for the window to go down. Ok over about a period of a week or 2 I would have to click the button several times it was like the window wasn't catching. After about a hundred time of pushing the button it would be about half way down. Never a problem going up push the button and it would go right up. After a few days of that is wouldn't work but if I hit on the door right around the buttons I could get it to work sometimes never a problem going up (the passenger side window will go up and down and the window lock works) what do I know I am a woman. But I took that piece with all the switches on it out of the door panel it seems like all the wires are intact. So I took the door panel off I cant really see anything is there a motor or regulator or something I'm over not having a window I look online at like AutoZone and typed in window motor nothing then I tried regulator said my car don't have that. What should I do? I can't afford to take it to the shop everything for that car is so hi then they charge me an arm and leg to put it on help me to do it myself please
          Thank you

Answer
It sounds like you need to replace the window master switch in the left armrest, you can either get it from a toyota dealer or you can try to located it at a Toyota only salvage yard(check the internet) or find one near you and make some phone calls to the local auto wrecking yards specializing in japanese products, good luck.
