Toyota Repair: Seqoia A/C light flashing, metal particles, toyota service

Question
I am a service tech with 25 years experience. I have a 2001 Sequoia that has an intermittently flashing A/C light. I don't need to tell you what happens to the systems performance when this happens... ( shuts down). The vehicle has recently had a compressor, drier, TEV, and a high pressure switch. The low side pressure at idle is near 55 p.s.i. (high,I know) and the high side is slightly over 250 p.s.i (also high). The engine fan is good and the condensor fan also seems ok. Where should I be looking? Will my scan tool help? I gave the system a good vacuum and then only fill it until the drier glass ran clear. approx. 48 oz. of R134a (has rear A/C). any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Steve

Answer
There is a toyota service bulletin(TSB AC 001-04).
Once the compressor seizes up it distributes metal particles throughout the system. We have found that the only way to fix a badly contaminated system is to replace the compressor and the parts per the bulletin and also replacing the front and rear evaporator with expansion valves, rec dier and possibly the condensor, and cleaning out all the lines, basically replacing the a/c system.
The reason the pressures are to high is that there is a blockage.
