Toyota Repair: 1989 Supra stalling at 2000 rpm, monster sock, toyota supra

Question
Terry:
My 1989 toyota supra (auto, non-turbo) sputters and dies at 2000 rpm. So far the vehicle starts right back up. Do you feel this is a fuel or an air intake problem? Also, where is the fuel pump and fuel filter on this car? I had a similar problem, the car would start but would immediately die and I replaced the electronic air intake assembly. I am planning on a fuel pressure test this weekend.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Answer
you may have a bad TPS, but fuel check is a good thing to start with, If not in the the tank, its right in the front of the tank, bolted to the underside of the body, long round monster, sock in the tank could be cloged also, filter I can't remeber, but just follow the lines from the tank, untill you see it.
