Toyota Repair: Replace sparkplugs - Avalon, plenum chamber, intake plenum

Question
What steps are required to replace rear bank of plugs on '97 toyota avalon. Engine is 3.0 v6 with 97K miles.

Answer
The easiest but most time consuming way is to remove the intake plenum chamber, the other way is to have a selection of 3/8" extensions, a universal joint, a 5/8 spark plug socket, with the right combination of extensions you can get in there to remove the spark plugs, try using a 3", 6", and a swivel joint and maybe an 8" extension connected to a ratchet, it's a little trial and error but it works, not easy but it works.
