Toyota Repair: overdrive on auto trans, mile powertrain warranty, toyota 4runner

Question
I recently changed the transmission oil & filter on my 2001 toyota 4runner. afterwards I noticed
that going uphill when you turn off the overdrive
the rpm's decrease instead of increasing(not down
shifting). This only happens going uphill, downhill
and on level roads when the od is turned off it
down shifts like normal. This vehicle has 34000
miles on it and has 4wd. The transmission is a
A340F 4sp.

Answer
Make sure the atf fluid level is correct, check it hot and at idle in park, if it is ok and the problem persists take it to a Toyota dealer and have them check to see if there are any diagnostic trouble codes in the computer, you have a 5yr/60,000 mile powertrain warranty from the factory so if there is a major problem it is still covered under the warranty.
