Toyota Repair: 1997 Camry Spoiler LED Light, electrical connector, led lights

Question
The spoiler LED light on my 1997 Camry no longer works.  Although the light has some 60 LED lights, the whole thing is out.  On other cars I have seen spoiler LED lights where only some of the LEDs are out.

I also developed a hyper blink situation on the driver side at the same time the spoiler light LED failed.  The situation gets worse when the brake is applied and even worse if the headlights are on.

Is whole light failure common?  Should I order a replacement LED or should I try to determine if the wiring is the problem?  Is the hyper blink likely related to the LED failure or should I replace the blinker?

Thanks.

Answer
A common problem is that the contacts on the front turn signal bulbs are not making good contact, the remedy is to remove the turn signal lens and remove the bulb holder then remove the bulb and pull the contacts in the holder up with a small hook and replace the bulb.
Remove the inner carpeting in the trunk and make sure the electrical connector for the spoiler LED is connected and check to see if there are 12 volts to the connector when the brake lights are on, if so, replace the entire LED panel.
