Toyota Repair: Toyota Solara, egr valve position, egr valve position sensor

Question
I just purchase Denso Spark plugs for my Solara, I just want to know do I really need to get plantium plugs for this car or any brand will do? Also my check engine went on and I got it diagnose and it read that the EGR valve sensor needs to be replace but I found out there are two sensors for the EGR. One is the position sensor and the othe is ? I forgot the name but anyway which one is correct?

Answer
I recommend that you use the OEM spark plugs from the parts department, it is recommended that the platinum plugs be replaced at 60,000 mile intervals.
I discourage you from using any aftermarket spark plugs(Bosch platinum) etc.
There is an EGR valve position sensor that commonly causes problems, I don't know what the other sensor may be without knowing what the trouble code was that turned on the check engine light, if there is more than one malfunction the scantool will give a code for each one, if you could give me the code(s) I can help diagnose the problem with a little more accuracy.
