Toyota Repair: brake rotors, brake calipers, brake rotors

Question
1991 4x4 P/U with manual locking front hubs.
Do I need to disassemble hubs at all to replace
rotors?  What bolts do I need to remove?  Have
tried once but could not separate rotor from hub.
Thanks much!

Answer
You need to remove the brake calipers, remove the 10mm bolts from the lock hub, remove the 12mm nuts from the 4x4 hub, there are cones under the nuts, which will come off by tapping around the outer edge with a hammer, remove the snap ring on the end of the axle shaft, remove the two large axle nuts, there is a special socket but a hammer and chisel will loosen them also, the entire rotor and hub assembly will then come off, you can seperate the rotor by removing all of the 14mm bolts from the rotor.
