Toyota Repair: repairing tail light and bumber, auto body shop, rav 4

Hello Ted,

I broke my right tail light this morning and smashed my right bumper. I have a Rav 4 and the bumper is plastic. What would be the estimate cost to have the light and bumper repaired? Is it more affordable to take it to a Toyota dealership for repair or an auto body shop?

I can't help with body repair estimates, sorry, I would take it directly to a body shop for an estimate, most toyota dealers have no body shop and sublet the work out. If there is no damage to the sheet metal and just requires replacement of the bumber and the light the dealer should be able to handle that but the bumper has to be painted to match.
