the timing is out 180 it is getting gas,fire,but the timing is off.it is a 1989 toyota camry

The dis will only  fit one way,  this leaves timing belt, you should only have to remove the wish bone bracket and top cover if belt is good, set it to tdc on crank, loosen tensioner, make sure crank don't move rotate cam pulley till the hole lines up with the oval on the cam cap, use light and mirror, no slack in the part of the belt closest to you, holding belt down on cam pulley, check crank for tdc release tensioner. tighten bolt, you can crank/start it before putting every thing back on.
