Toyota Repair: power window, diyer, camrys

Question
Thank you for responding so quickly.  Is replacing the regulator a job that a DIYer could handle.  I am pretty good with tools.  If so, do you have any tips for me.

Thank you.

Question -
I have a 95 Camry with power windows.  Today the driver side, passenger window went down but will not go up.  At first it went up 3/4 of the way.  Now, since I lowered it all the way, it won't go up at all.  When I push the button down, I hear what I think is the motor.  When I pull up in the button, I don't hear anything.  Do you have any suggestions.  It is a 10 year old car that I use to get back and forth to work.  I rarely have anyone in the back.

Thank you,

Answer -
The window regulator needs to be replaced, common problem on Camrys.

Answer
It's not that hard, remove the door panel, remove the window switch and plug it back on after removing the door panel, with the key on, try to move the window up or down to gain access to the two 10mm bolts that hold the window glass on to the regulator, if the window won't move cut the cable on the regulator and move the window by hand until you can get to the bolts, remove the window glass through the top, remove the bolts from the motor and the regulator, disconnect the electrical connector and pull the entire assembly out through the opening in the door, install the new regulator to the motor and reassemble eveything.
