Toyota Repair: tercel 93, spark plug wires, alternator belt

My toyota trecel miles- 165K, is not doing so good!  It will start up and run fine for a while, and then it will just shut off while i am driving, it tends to happen when i go to give it gas, also there are times when i attemp to give press accelerator and it sounds like it is hesitating, i have been told it is my alternator belt, my alarm, spark plugs, battery etc....everybody thinks that they are a mechanic! please help!!!

It sounds like an electrical problem and a misfire, unless you have already done so, replace the following:
The spark plugs
The spark plug wires
The distributor cap
The distributor rotor
The fuel filter
After that get back to me and let me know if that fixed the problem or you need more assistance.
