Toyota Repair: 93 Camry XLE power Antenna, camry xle, good luck jack

When the radio is turned off, the power antenna will not retract all the way - it is sticking up about 6-8 inches. This happened once before a few years ago and the Toyota dealership made the repair.  Is this a repair we can do?  I recall the repair was rather expensive.  What is the typical warrenty for this type of repair at a dealership? I go to the same place all the time for service.

You can try it yourself.
Go to my site www.yotarepair.com and then to your vehicle section. In the Electrical portion you will find directions for replacing the mast.
You will have to get the part from the dealer.  The worse case is that you will have to have the dealer finish the job if a piece is broken and stuck in the motor.
